Probably everyone who lives in Helsingborg has been at least ones at Sofiero castle and its gardens! Previously ”one of the Swedish royl family summer mansions, located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north of Helsingborg”. https://sofiero.se/en/
On Friday within the Value creation & Innovation course in Service Management tourism we had a very interesting excursion, warm welcome with fika & interesting presentation that was followed by a discussion at Sofiero. Beeing in the middle of our Master’s journey we were glad to try out our ideas in practice 🙂
What comes to your mind when you think about the former Swedish royal family summer mansion? Heritage & knowledge perhaps are the first assosiations… Though as it usually happens there is much more on the inside :).
Sofiero is doing their best to bring curiousity, experimentation and extraordinary experiences to their guests. It is full of creative ideas and passionate people, though changes and innovation is good, respect to heritage is also a priority, as best experiences should be authentic and rooted in the history of places they represent.
So there is a lot to come in the following year at Sofiero premises. And what would attract you to visit Sofiero in autumn & winter? How creative are you?
